This series is mostly understated and minimalist in composition, and earthy in palette, with the particular use of burnt umber.
The emotional depth and the play of light in our colors react very dynamically to changing light conditions.
The art pieces will range from 5x5 to 14x14 (inches) and embody a "tenebroso" technique using coffee stain and oil as the primary mediums which also includes repurposed studio floor backing canvas that heighten the contrasts of light and darkness, and magnifying dramatic ‘ingenuity’.
